My great friend Ana and I went to London on the 20th of May,2011, to continue celebrating my Birthday, and we had a great time together...we went to A Mexican Restaurant called'The Crazy Homies' where we eat tacos,quesadillas and churros and they were delicious!! We also walked a lot and enjoyed shopping...of course! and we went to see 'Mama Mia' the musical. We had a great time!

Did you enjoy Mamma Mia? I really enjoyed it when I saw it, although I was really glad that I saw it before the film came out. Don't get me wrong, the show was brilliant but I think the film was much better.
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to theatre though, Shakespeare's Globe is my favourite. I love the West End but if it came down to a choice between going to the Globe and seeing a musical, the Globe would win every time. But you do have to remember to rent a cushion. Whatever you do, rent a cushion when you go to the Globe. Don't fool yourself into thinking "Oh, it wasn't that uncomfortable, I'll be fine". A couple of years ago, I went to the Globe for my birthday. I booked a weekend in serviced apartments in London with few friends (One of which absolutely hates Shakespeare, bless her) and we went to the Globe on the Saturday.
And we didn't rent cushions. Let's just say that my friend's opinion of Shakespeare was by no means improved at the end of the performance.
